About the Book

What if finding the future you want means embracing the past?

The Palmer brothers are the most eligible bachelors in the small mountain town of Kings Grove. But Miranda George only has eyes for one of them—Chance. And he won’t even look her way unless it’s because she just spilled something on him.

And his brother Sam? He’s the one person in town she wishes would just disappear. After being in school together their whole lives, he knows everything about her. Including the one thing she’s never told anyone else.

Sam is intimately familiar with every adorably clutzy move Miranda’s ever made, and he can never seem say what he really means when she’s around.

When a backcountry wildfire threatens everything and everyone they both love, will Miranda and Sam be able to look beyond their complicated past and see a future that might bring them together?

This smart, funny enemies-to-lovers, small-town romance is the second book in Delancey Stewart’s Kings Grove Series.

Kings Grove

ARC Review

Open Your Eyes is a small-town romance that is written in the first-person point of view and is the second book in the Kings Grove series.

Sam has always had feelings for Miranda, and her clutzy ways, but has had to keep them in check since she has only ever had eyes for his brother. Miranda can not understand why she can never get Chance’s attention but Sam is always there in front of her and she wishes he would just disappear because of his attitude and the fact he knows her secret. When a wildfire threatens everything will it allow Sam and Miranda to look beyond the complications and open their eyes to what’s in front of them?

I was excited to return to Kings Grove to get to know Sam and Miranda better, which I was not disappointed as Open Your Eyes was a fun book that will have you smiling with that happy feel-good feeling. I can not wait for the return to Kings Grove to see what happens next.

Delancey Stewart

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here…
I’m Delancey Stewart – contemporary romance author! My books run the gamut of settings and setups, but they always deliver humor, heart and heat. It’s a guarantee.
I write from my home outside Washington DC, where I manage a household full of boys and men. Okay, only one man. The hubs. But two boys. I mean, three if you count the hubs. (You see why I do words and not numbers. I was told there’d be no math in this about me section. Someone lied.)
I grew up in California and have had more jobs than anyone on earth (personal trainer, pharmaceutical rep, copywriter, tech writer, marketing director, wine seller, elementary school teacher… I’m not kidding. The list. It goes on.) But the one I love the most is writing, in part because I get to meet people who love books and stories as much as I do! Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to say hello, and don’t forget to join my newsletter!
